NSI Marketing Services Buys Analytics Shop Razor

The St. Louis-based NSI Marketing Services acquired the Dallas-based marketing and advertising firm RAZOR for an undisclosed amount.

Combined, the two firms are expected to produce annual sales in the $70-million to $75-million range, while also combining RAZOR’s knowledge in consumer analytics and data-driven sales with NSI’s diverse marketing channels.

RAZOR will remain at its current location and staffing levels. Together, the merged firms have 475 employees, making it one of the 10 largest privately-held marketing agencies in the United States, according to NSI. NSI’s President and CEO Mark Mantovani will lead the combined firm.

RAZOR’s client list includes Nestlé Purina, Domino’s Pizza, Rent-a-Center, Dave & Buster’s, The Cheesecake Factory, Baskin-Robbins and Wendy’s. NSI maintains additional offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Detroit.
